Last month, I co-hosted a Gillette event alongside actor Justin Hartley, helping to launch the brand’s newest products with the message that One Size Does Not Fit Every Man. In today’s world, we’ve really been spoiled. Almost every product and experience is customized to our own individual tastes. That variety of options shouldn’t stop at razors, and thanks to Gillette, it doesn’t.   Gillette never takes a “one size fits all” approach to designing its razors, and it’s why the brand offers so many options. Because all men are different, no matter how similar we may look on the outside. I am a huge advocate for individuality. After all, our look – whether it’s our clothes, our shoes, hair or beard styles – is a reflection of what we want the world to believe about us. Your look should say something about you! We all have different skin types – some are dry, some are oily, some are incredibly sensitive and irritated easily. We also all have different budgets and lifestyles, different personalities and preferences. So, “One Size Fits All” just doesn’t make sense when it comes to how guys select their razor. My personal go-to is the MACH3 razor with ...

BOSS introduced the new collection for Fall 2018 with a modern twist on classic sports tailoring. Boss’s chief brand officer, Ingo Wilts, stated the line’s baseball elements were strongly influenced by the New York athletic style while combined with the heritage of the brand. I would 100% wear every outfit that walked down the runway. I’m obsessing over the muted color palette with hints of bright yellow and blue. They also took a leap with experimenting with new silhouettes and the texture of pants, mixing padded styles with leather and drawstrings on trousers. The trenches, oversized puffers and capes are playful with personality yet remain true to the Boss aesthetic. Overall, they mastered this collection and I can’t wait to style and shoot this line for Fall.   GALLA

featuring: Hugo Boss houndstooth trench, black trousers, black sweater & cross body satchel.   Hey Guys, hope everyone has been well & surviving the winter. My team and I have been working non-stop on this years first set of surprises, just a couple more months before everything starts rolling out. We’re beginning with a complete website redesign & rebrand and bringing GALLA back to the core of where everything started- before social media. Without spoiling too much, it’s going to be a one stop shop for everything fashion & lifestyle related mostly angled towards men. Think Man Repeller but for a dude. I’m very excited to also announce the guest contributors who will be writing on a regular basis about current events, pop culture, media, travel etc. But don’t worry, it wont be boring and factual, we’re making sure there will be plenty of personality and sass to go around. stay tuned. In the meantime I’ve been loving this early spring weather in New York. I’ve been sporting some of Hugo Boss’s new SS18 collection, in particular this statement-houndstooth trench coat. It pairs well with black, but also earth tones should you choose that direction.  Also any opportunity to throw ...

featuring Carl F. Bucherer Masterpieces As New York gets cold and the days get shorter, I find ways to escape the brisk streets and warm up with a good book and a glass of whiskey*. Inspiration starts to come from the aesthetic of my surroundings. In these spaces where it’s easy to lose track of time, it’s only right that I’m accompanied by a classic timepiece. One that always brings me back to reality yet continues to provide an artistic appeal was created by a visionary himself, Carl F. Bucherer. In 1888, Carl Friedrich Bucherer opened a jewelry and watch shop in Lucerne where he combined quality and originality with time. Lucerne is a place of unique beauty whose rough and fierce nature shaped the character of a timepiece that completes the look of a confident, elegant man. The brand continues to expand the fine art of watchmaking while keeping the innovative culture and conceptual finesse of the original movement. The authentic design of The Manero Flyback brings the deeply rooted cosmopolitan and tradition of Lucerne to my modern day New York. Reminding me of the importance of craftsmanship and being comfortable with getting lost within my own creativity. XX ...
